Anciently, there were two fundamental organizations that competed for the minds of mankind.  These two groups have been described in various religious texts using somewhat different names.   One group was called the Children of the Law of One or the Children of Light and the other was called the Children of Belial or the Sons of Baal (Book of Genesis in the Old Testament).  One group taught the Doctrines of Oneness and the other group taught the Doctrines of Separation.   (Obviously, based on the paradigm that is currently being taught in our educational system, the Doctrines of Separation is the philosophy that came out on top -- to the exclusion of the Doctrines of Oneness.)   The Doctrines of Oneness have not even been seriously considered as a teaching option by our school systems.     

THE CHILDREN OF THE LAW OF ONE IN MODERN TIMES

 This website for the CHILDREN OF THE LAW OF ONE was established as a result of a dream that David Allisone had in the early morning hours of August 24, 2003.  While David cannot remember the details of the dream, he had a very strong impression to get out of bed and register the website domain URL  www.childrenofthelawofone.org.  David reluctantly did exactly this, and then he went back to bed.  When he woke up the next morning, David not only could not remember the dream, he questioned his own sanity because he had just charged $70 on his credit card and he had absolutely no idea what to do with this website.  Even one year later, David still did not know what to do with this website.  

As time went on, David began to learn line upon line and precept upon precept about the importance of the Law of One and the relationship between "oneness" and the nature of reality.  David discovered that, for thousands of years in some cases, the same fundamental teachings of oneness were being taught by many widely differing religious traditions. 

For the past few decades, science has been catching up with these ancient teachings.  Albert Einstein apparently comprehended some of the principles of the Law of One over one-hundred years ago.  More recently, modern Nobel Prize winning scientists are beginning to understand the physics of oneness.   Today, there is a huge body of evidence that brings science and religion together on this subject.  

Many people are beginning to understand that the Law of One is the basis for all the other laws of the universe.  This understanding is rapidly spreading throughout the world.  So much so, in fact, that  one day, there will be references to the “Tsunami of Consciousness” that swept over the world in the second decade of the millennium.   Perhaps, the Mayans will be proven to have been very prophetic.  

Law of One Study Groups are being established in cities around the world.  David Allisone believes that, when a substantial percentage (a critical mass) of people become aware of the reality of our Oneness, peace will begin to breakout on the Earth.

About 1900 to 2000 years ago, in the Qumran Community along the shores of the Dead Sea, there was a Teacher of Righteousness that referred to the Children of Light and the Children of Darkness.  The Children of Light are thought to be remnants of the Children of the Law of One and the Children of Darkness were the Children of Belial (Baal).

THE EDGAR CAYCE CONNECTION

Edgar Cayce had much to say about two fundamental organizations that competed for the minds of the people in ancient Atlantis (approximately 10,500 years ago).  One group was called the Children of the Law of One and the other was called the Children of Belial.  According to the Cayce Readings one group taught the Doctrines of Oneness and the other group taught the Doctrines of Separation.       

THE JON PENIEL STORY

The Edgar Cayce Readings predicted that a teacher by the name of Jon Peniel (?) would show up in the last days with a message that would transform the world.  Actually, there has been an author by the name of Jon Peniel who has written a book entitled, The Lost Teachings of Atlantis and The Children of the Law of One.   This would seem to be a confirmation of a Cayce prophecy; however, it was disappointing to discover that this Jon Peniel was born with another name and later changed his name to Jon Peniel.  It would be very easy to conclude that Jon Peniel was simply a fraud and that he should be dismissed without further investigation. However, there is so much truth in Jon’s message that his material cannot be dismissed lightly.   (This is a highly convoluted matter and it is the subject of a Lecture by David Allisone.)
